Enchanted
So, I just got back from viewing Disney's latest film, Enchanted. I came into that theater thinking I would be impressed with the film.
I left thinking "OMFG WHEN DOES IT COME OUT ON DVD."
AND YES, I already bought the soundtrack. XD HA HA.
I kid you not: this film is FANTASTIC. True, there wasn't as much animation as I percieved, but what was there was...fabulous. The animators really pulled out all the stops for those scenes. And as for the acting, I was also impressed. I didn't think I would like Patrick Dempsey in that role, but he turned out to be my favorite character in the entire film. Amy Adams (Gizelle the princess) reminded me a lot of a classic dipsy princess, but that's what I love, so there. :D
The fairytale prince Edward was also very good. Handsome, brave, a total idiot...and OMFG IDINA MENZEL! Idina Menzel was in it! And she was GOOD! *spasms* MY GOD. MY. GOD.
And so was Peter Pettrigrew as the hapless assistant Nathanial! HA HA HA. XD He was classic.
And Patrick Dempsey's daughter was O So Adorable and sweet.
I didn't like the villain, though. XD She was there the entire time, but she kind of...flopped out. She could've been evil, but she just kind of sat there...brewing. Evil brewers do that a lot.
And the dragon from the movie trailer? It only got 7 minutes of screen times and kind of looked like someone spilled glitterglue all over her. :|
But anyways, enough about acting and animation. What I loved best was the music. OMG, I already bought the soundtrack, it's so good. :D Carrie Underwood's on it, and actually, sounds decent when she's not belting songs about Jesus taking control of cars with histerical parents at the wheel.
And James Marsden (Edward) sings "That's Amore", which being a "Moonstruck" junkie makes me giggle inside.
But overall, I give it 10 stars. 83 I AM SO MAKING ICONS WHEN I CAN. And lots of art, too.Provided I get off my lazy ass and give those request pieces that were supposed to be done ages ago. D:
P.S. Animators properly animating horses makes my heart go *WHAM WHAM WHAM*. ^^

...IS OFFICIALLY MY NEW FAVORITE PIXAR MOVIE EVAH. 8D
I have to tell you, I don't think I've ever been in a situation where I didn't want the movie to end. Keep in mind this is a 110 minute movie, and I DIDN'T WANT IT TO END.
YOU! Go to the theater and see it, NOW! It's SOOO worth the money.
EDIT!: Oh, and remind me NEVER AGAIN to watch the 4Kids dub of Tokyo Mew Mew.
lavaliere, if you disliked what they did with Yu-Gi-Oh!, that'll seem like a godsend compared to this crap they dished out. D:
