::EDIT::
I passed manuverability with flying colors, but failed driving. Apparently my turns are too wide, I didn't use my mirrors, and I stalled once. I had a psycho instructor as well who tooks points off for having a jerky car, but the car I drove was over 5 years old and has been jerky for two of those five.
I can take the test next Friday again but still. FUCK.
In approximately 2 hours, I have to take my driver's liscence test. o_o;;
Admittedly, I feel...okay. We've been working on maneuverability all morning, and as long as I don't panic and pay attention to my mirrors, I think I can handle that without my dad screaming 'STRAIGHT! TURN! LEFT! STOP!"
We're gonna head out and practice driving around the test area before I actually have to, so that'll help a bit. But still...
...I feel nervous. Not as nervous as yesterday, but I'm sure it'll set in and possibly screw me over.
I just gotta stay calm and cool. Cool as a cloudypard. Cool...><;
Band Camp starts tomorrow. Will post a hiatus thing later, mood pending.

So, wow. Here's something actually worth updating about, not some crappy meme. D: It MUST be the end of the world.
So, this week's been pretty busy. On Monday and Wednesday I had cross country practice from 10:30-11:30+, and the others days I had pre-band camp from 9:00-1:00. It's been fun, since I got to see all my friends again and make some new ones. (I met these really nice girls named Gabby and Emily, who both love anime, and who both play clarinet. We also got a male clarinet player ((HOMG, guys playing clarinets?? YOU LIE.)) named Ben who sadly was run over by my friend Mandy during reverse march rehearsals. XD)
Next week is band camp, so I'll be gone all week. BUT! I will be bringing a notebook to write day-to-day notes and doodles. And I'll post pictures, so much tomfoolery is ahead, mates!
On another note, today I had a routine physical for cross country practice at my doctor's office. For the record, I LOVE my doctor. He's just like my father in every way, albiet a bit more crazy and a little more bald. He really cares about me and my sister and he's always looking out for us. First thing he says? "You staying away from those boys?" LOL. Gladiuex, you make me LOLZ.
So, everything went fine, up until the point where the doctor looks at my shot record and says, "Well, it says you've had your chicken pox vaccine, but since it's becoming common again, we're going to give you guys a booster." I asked, "Today? Really?" And he says, "Yeah."
This was my reaction: D8 NOOOOOOOOOOES.
Here's why: me and needles? ABSOLUTELY NO LOVE THERE. I HATE needles and vaccinations with a passion. The last time I got a shot, I hid underneath a chair and refused to come out. I kid you not.
Oh but wait! It gets better! He then says, "Oh, and I also want to start you guys on [insert name of medicine here]. This is the shot that prevents cervical cancer in women." So, two shots, one day. My reaction? *sadwhimperwhine*
So, as I'm getting the shot for CC, the nurse says at the possibly very last second, "This will burn a little bit, okay?" And as she's literally saying it, she's injecting it. "A little" does NOT describe the discomfort of that. It did not hurt a little. It hurt a LOT.
Now I have two Tazmanian Devil brand band-aids on both my upper arms, and the one that recieved the CC shot still hurts. I took a motrin, but I feel no love for the needle that did it. I know it's for the greater good, but if it hurts, then GODDAMNIT WHY DO I NEED IT. D<
Afterwards, we treated ourselves and my friend Mandy (who we were giving a ride home from pre-band. She had to wait with us at the doctor's office - sorry Mandy, I'll draw a pic to make it up to you. Why am I saying that? She doesn't even HAVE LJ. D:) to lunch at Blue Pacific, which is a Asian food bistro where you pick your food and they cook it for you. I had a chicken-seafood dish, which was...eh. I don't care much for cooked seafood, but I was in the mood and when I'm in the mood for seafood, then by golly I WILL HAVE IT.
....yeah.
Fake crab meat = bad.
Chicken = mm, yummers.
Ginger citrus sauce = GODLINESS. So, definately sticking to dear old gingered chicken from now on. :D
So, yeah. I'll probably make one more post before band camp, but right now, I must watch ep.12 of Tokyo Mew Mew. GOD, I love that show. :D
